Privacy Policy

Information We Process

• Cat names and optional cat photos you add.
• Toy information, including toy type, status, assignments, and optional toy photos.
• Play log entries, ratings, and optional notes you choose to enter.
• Reminder settings such as cadence, weekday, and time.
• Basic app history used to show rotation activity inside the app.
• Subscription and purchase status needed to unlock paid features, if you buy a subscription.

How We Use This Information

• To build toy rotation groups and suggest what toys to put out next.
• To keep track of which toys are active, resting, or due for rotation.
• To let you log how much your cat liked a toy.
• To send reminder notifications if you enable reminders.
• To display your content back to you inside the app.
• To determine whether subscription-based features should be available to you.

Where Your Data Is Stored

At this time, PurrCycle is designed to store app data locally on your device. We do not currently provide an in-app account system or cloud account for syncing your data across devices.

If you delete the app, reset the app, or erase your device, your locally stored app data may also be removed.

Photos, Camera, and Photo Library Access

PurrCycle may ask for permission to access:

• Your camera, if you choose to take a photo of a cat or toy.
• Your photo library, if you choose to attach an existing photo.

These permissions are optional and are only used to support features you actively choose to use.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, PurrCycle may schedule local notifications on your device to remind you when it is time to rotate toys or when activity suggests boredom may be increasing.

Notification settings can be changed in the app or in your device settings at any time.

Sharing and Selling

We do not currently sell your personal information. We do not currently share your in-app toy and cat data with advertisers.

If you purchase a subscription, payment processing and subscription management may be handled by Apple through the App Store and, if implemented, by limited service providers used to validate subscription status inside the app. We do not use this to sell your information to advertisers.

If we later add additional third-party services that process data on our behalf, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those services and the data involved.

Subscriptions and Payments

PurrCycle may offer optional paid subscriptions or paid features. When you make a purchase through Apple's in-app purchase system, Apple handles the payment transaction under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

We do not receive your full payment card number through the app. We may receive limited information such as purchase status, product identifiers, expiration information, and receipt-related data necessary to determine whether premium features should be unlocked.

Children's Privacy

PurrCycle is intended for general audiences and is not designed specifically for children to use independently. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through an account system at this time.

Data Retention

Because PurrCycle currently stores information locally on your device, your information remains on your device until you edit it, remove it, reset the app, uninstall the app, or otherwise delete it from your device.
